Rain Forest Suite

This spectacular cottage presents luxury accommodation for families or groups. Spread over three levels, it offers a spacious living area, a reading area, a large dining room for dinner parties which can be catered for from the resort's restaurant, loft sleeping quarters and a bathroom set into a tropical "cave". The various levels allow for maximum privacy in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Restaurant :
Rainfern restaurant is designed like a large open tropical tree house with all tables having views of the rainforest. Spread over four levels, there are aquariums and greenery surrounding the central waterfall and pool. An extensive Thai menu is featured and the specialty is local freshwater fish.

Hours: 8.00 am - 9.00 pm.

Massage :
No Thai resort would be complete without a massage service and of course the Rain Forest Resort has excellent staff who can provide you with this service. Just imagine a massage in an open air Sala along the river side. As you let the masseur (masseuse) release the tension in your muscles your mind will drift along the river with the gentle breezes and scents of the tropics.

Internet :
The resort provides ADSL high speed internet service for guests between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. (Charged at 1 baht per minute. Minimum of 20 baht.) So, you can keep in touch with friends or let those at the office know how much you're benefiting by taking a vacation!

Rafting :
Bookings for white water rafting can be made at the resort. Join these popular guided adventures down the rapids of the Khek River. The difficulty is ranked at between levels 3 and 5 and this adventure is ranked as serious fun. (Available June - October only.)

Nature Tour :
For trek lovers, there are plenty of short trek routes around Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Thung Salaeng Luang National Park and other nearby areas which give trekkers an intimate experience of the tropical Thai landscape, its vegetation and the thrilling sight of Thai hill tribe cultures. Maps are provided at reception.

Car rental :
If you have come to the resort by transportation other than your own car, you may want to rent a car for a day or so to explore the rich cultural history of this part of Thailand. (For example, the ancient capital of Sukhothai, the National Parks of Phu Hin Rong Kla and Thung Salaeng Luang)

Cycling :
The resort provides bicycles for guests to explore the nearby national parks. Bookings can be made at reception.
